WHAT IS A TRANSCRIPT? - A transcript is a document showing the student’s official record of classes, units, dates and grades taken through UCSC Extension, including Concurrent Enrollment coursework. Each transcript is mailed separately in an officially sealed envelope. This does not include course work where you enrolled and attended through the UCSC main campus degree program; contact that office at (831) 459-4412.
EVALUATION, CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT – Regular Extension courses do not provide evaluations. A
Concurrent Enrollment course requires enrollment through Extension to attend a regular UCSC
main campus course. The course number begins with “XSC”. This is a three month course during
the Fall, Winter or Spring quarter, not Summer quarter. The student is required to ask the
instructor for an evaluation at the beginning of the course.
PROCESSING AND PAYMENT INFORMATION – The transcript order must be generated from the
student. Processing of a transcript begins when the order is
received in the Student Services office, excluding weekends and holidays. Normal processing
is within 15 business days. One order can include multiple addresses. Each transcript is $10 each.
RUSH FEE – $15 per order. Include this fee if you wish the entire transcript order to be processed within two days. This is for internal office processing, not overnight mail delivery. For example: if you order two transcripts at $10 each with the $15 rush fee, the total cost is $35.
PROCEDURES TO COMPLETE A TRANSCRIPT ORDER
- IMPORTANT - Review your online records to ensure accuracy before ordering a transcript. To hold your order for pending grades, please get these course section numbers from your student record before you start your transcript order.
- Number of Copies – indicate number of transcripts going to a particular address and include any restriction:
- Hold for grades – indicate course(s) you wish to include but are not yet graded. The transcript will be processed when the grades are entered for that course.
- Evaluation, Concurrent Enrollment – Please read the details above, these are not for regular Extension courses. If you received an evaluation from a main campus
instructor, we will include this with the transcript.
- Fill in the entire address.
- To continue the order and enter another address, click “Send Transcript(s) To Another Location”.
- To complete the order, click Checkout and complete the checkout process.
