Entrepreneurship
Program Overview
Our venture management program is the only training of its kind available in the Bay Area. We offer two unique courses of study:
Global Entrepreneurial Management provides more than just an in-depth view into the real-world day-to-day operations of startups. It equips aspiring entrepreneurs with know-how and tools they can use to shape their business and bring successful products to market.
Our Green Entrepreneurship course explores new avenues for startups in green tech and related spaces.
In both cases, you will study with highly successful entrepreneurs from some of Silicon Valley's best known ventures.
The program investigates the hidden challenges of new ventures, surfacing and deconstructing dozens of pervasive live-or-die issues that can cause company meltdown. It offers unique training for startup entrepreneurs and early-stage company managers, including:
-
Founders with technical backgrounds
- Early-stage operating managers
- Recent engineering graduates
- Anyone seriously considering a startup
By improving their appreciation of exactly what they will confront, participants learn to navigate the pitfalls of startup ventures and grow a viable enterprise.
The Global Entrepreneurial Management course is offered April and October.
